Meditation can be done either sitting or lying down; the important thing is the posture, which should be stable and comfortable. In addition, the neck and spine must be aligned and straight.
Find a quiet place to meditate, close your eyes and begin to relax the muscles, from the feet to the head, passing by the legs, the trunk and the lower abdomen, the shoulders, the neck, the back, and finally the face. Then focus on your breathing so that it is deep and slow. Inhale and exhale through the nose, and with each exhalation, release more muscle tension.
Do this exercise at least 15 minutes twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. It is the basis of all meditation and all work on oneself, and it brings health and harmony, especially when combined with the relaxation of the mind, which we will introduce in next week's meditation.
